NBA Heavy Hitters
- Each board uses one stat, picked from points, rebounds, assists, steals, blocks, 3-pointers or minutes per game, double-doubles, or total points. Every row adds its own filter.
- Lock in a player and a season for each row. Once it’s locked, it’s final, and Skip or a filter change counts the board as a loss.
- A player can only be used once, so every row needs a different name.
- If a player you used on one row also leads another row, that row scores against the best player you could still pick there.
- Tap Reveal to score all your picks at once.

About this game & data
Pick a different player and season for every row. Each pick gets a row score out of 100, and the row’s leader scores 100.
In the first row, LeBron James’s 2014-15 (25.3) was the next best pick after his 2016-17 (26.4).
James Harden topped more than one row. A player can only be used once, so the set uses him in one row only.
The biggest number in that set was James Harden’s 36.1.

What goes into NBA Heavy Hitters boards
Rows use any of 9 stats, per game or for the season. A row can be a conference, one of 6 divisions or a single team.
Twist rows ask for things like points per game with under 3 assists, or blocks from a guard.
Career twists include players who never won MVP or Defensive Player of the Year, and players not taken in the first round.
Division rows are short lists. Think of the one star each team had that decade.
About the data
NBA seasons 1991-92 to 2025-26, from ESPN.
Why 1991-92? ESPN’s older NBA leaderboards leave out real stars, like Larry Bird in 1984-85, so a right answer could count as a miss.
Stat terms
