MLB Heavy Hitters
- Each board uses one stat, picked from home runs, RBIs, runs, hits, stolen bases, batting average, OPS, pitcher strikeouts, pitcher wins or saves. Every row adds its own filter.
- Lock in a player and a season for each row. Once it’s locked, it’s final, and Skip or a filter change counts the board as a loss.
- A player can only be used once, so every row needs a different name.
- If a player you used on one row also leads another row, that row scores against the best player you could still pick there.

What goes into MLB Heavy Hitters boards
Rows use home runs, RBIs, runs, hits, stolen bases, strikeouts, wins, saves, batting average or OPS. The leagues are the AL and NL, each with East, Central and West divisions.
Twist rows ask for things like home runs from a shortstop, or steals from a player with more than 15 homers.
Career twists include players who never won MVP, a Silver Slugger or the Cy Young, and players not taken in the first round.
On a catcher row, a few names hold most of the big seasons. Start there.

Stat terms
- HR / RBI / SB:
- home runs, runs batted in and stolen bases.
- Batting average:
- hits divided by at-bats.
- OPS:
- on-base percentage plus slugging percentage.
- ERA:
- earned runs a pitcher allows per nine innings. Lower is better.
- WHIP:
- walks plus hits a pitcher allows per inning. Lower is better.
- Save:
- finishing a close win as a relief pitcher.
