Two different ways to do it. Career Path shows you a player's clubs season by season and asks who it is — no name, no photograph, just the route he took. Squad Sweep goes the other way: it gives you a team, a season and a position, and asks you to name anyone who fits.

- How many guesses do I get?
- Career Path reveals the career one club at a time and lets you guess at any point — the earlier you get it, the better you score.
- Does it accept nicknames and misspellings?
- Common nicknames and near-miss spellings are accepted. Where two players share a name, picking from the suggestions list is the reliable way to be scored against the one you meant.
- Is it the same player every day?
- No — this one is unlimited and picks a new career each time. If you want a fixed challenge that everybody gets, the Daily Challenge is five boards a day — everyone following the same sports gets the same five games.
