Trick Play
Lie convincingly. Spot the truth. A real sports fact appears with one blank. Everyone writes a lie that could fill it, then you all vote for the truth. +2 for finding it, +1 for every player your lie fools. Best with 3 to 12 players.
How it works
- A real fact appears with one blank.
- Everyone writes a lie that could fill it.
- All the lies and the truth are shown. Vote for the truth.
- +2 for finding the truth, +1 for every player your lie fools.
- Most points after 8 rounds wins.
- Wrote the real answer as your lie? You're told and you pick another. You can't score for finding the truth that round.
- Two players wrote the same lie? It shows once, and both get its points.
- No lie in time? The house writes one for you (it scores nothing).
- Out of time to vote? You get no points for the vote.
- Just 2 of you? The house adds fake answers so there are always 4 to pick from.
- Tied after the last round? One more question, and only the tied players can score. Still tied after 3? You share the win.
